San Jose International Airport

OHMEGA provided low voltage communications engineering design and construction phase services for the construction of approximately 10,000 square feet of aviation terminal space plus (6) 30,000 SF hangars with attached offices, (1) 60,000 SF hangar with attached offices, (1) 3,600 SF GSE shop, fuel farm and ramp. The project consisted of the construction of a new terminal facility and multiple hangar facilities for Signature Flight Support at San Jose International Airport in San Jose, California.

Lighting Evaluation Study at the Greater Orlando International Airport

OHMEGA assisted the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority in creating an Airfield Lighting Management System that will generate a condition assessment of the GOAA-owned and maintained airfield lighting system at the Orlando International Airport.

Apron Lighting Rehabilitation at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

OHMEGA provided electrical engineering design services for the rehabilitation of apron lighting at Philadelphia International Airport. The project included the replacement of existing high pressure sodium (HPS) Lumineers with new state of the art, energy efficient LED Lumineers. The design also included new lighting control and power distribution systems. An FAA glare analysis was provided to determine the impact of the new lighting on taxiing aircraft and the air traffic control tower (ATCT). The work included detailed coordination with Philadelphia Department of Aviation (DOA) and the airlines.

FAA ATCT Power System Modification at Miami International Airport (MIA)

OHMEGA provided electrical engineering design services for the upgrade of the critical power distribution system (CPDS) at the Miami International Airport (MIA) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT). This project consisted of the demolition of the existing critical power distribution infrastructure and replacement with a new CPDS. Design included new 800A service entrance switchboards (SWBD), new 500KW engine-generators, distribution panel boards and new 1,000A automatic transfer switches (ATS) as well as other critical distribution components.

Airfield Lighting Rehabilitation at Charleston Executive Airport (JZI)

OHMEGA provided engineering consulting, design and construction phase services for the rehabilitation of airfield lighting systems at Charleston Executive Airport (JZI). The design included lighting systems for two runways, taxiways, new airfield lighting vault, new rotating beacon, and new primary and supplementary wind cones.
